چکیده

In this research work, two different compositions of MR fluid samples with 24 and 30 percentage (%) volume fraction carbonyl iron (CI) particles are prepared. Prepared (MRF) contain as a dispersive medium, silicone oil carrier fluid, white lithium grease an anti-settling agent. Influence oscillating driving frequency, strain amplitude, magnetic field, the CI particle on rheological properties presented. Storage modulus loss factor equations estimated from rheometry results using linear regression method. The taken to design model sandwich beams ANSYS ACP software, where carbon epoxy composite material is used face layer core material. Modal, harmonic, transient analysis studies have been conducted all modelled beams. thickness, in prepared sample, field vibrational response Carbon-epoxy composites in-house made MRF beam has shown some significant response.

Free vibrations analysis of a sandwich rectangular plate with electrorheological fluid core

In this paper, a rectangular sandwich plate with a constrained layer and an electrorheological (ER) fluid core is investigated. The rectangular plate is covered an ER fluid core and a constraining layer to improve the stability of the system. The two outer layers of the sandwich structure are elastic. The viscoelastic materials express the middle layer behavior under electric field and small st...

Sinonasal ossifying fibroma with fluid-fluid levels on MR images.

Ossifying fibroma is a rare benign neoplasm that usually affects mandibular and maxillary bones. In this report, we present a case of sinonasal ossifying fibroma with fluid-fluid levels and posterior extension toward the torus tubarius on MR images.

Cerebrospinal fluid fistula: detection with MR cisternography.

PURPOSE Our goal was to assess the role of MR cisternography in the examination of patients with suspected CSF rhinorrhea. METHODS MR cisternography was performed as a heavily T2-weighted fast spin-echo study with fat suppression and video reversal of the images in 37 patients over a 3-year interval. Twenty-four of the patients subsequently had exploratory surgery for fistula. Statistical ana...

MR-driven Computational Fluid Dynamics

Introduction: Knowledge of blood flow patterns in the human body is a critical component in cardiovascular disease diagnosis. In-vivo blood flow is typically assessed either by 3D phase-contrast MRI [1], or by Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) calculations [2]. MRI measurements are direct, but offer limited spatio-temporal resolution. Conventional CFD calculations offer "infinite" spatial reso...

MR imaging of intracranial fluid levels.

Six patients with seven intracranial fluid levels were evaluated with both CT and MR at 1.5 T. A surgical diagnosis was obtained in six of the seven instances. MR was found to be superior to CT in detecting intracranial fluid levels, and the MR signal characteristics were helpful in identifying their contents. These cases demonstrate the necessity for a slightly different approach to lesions wi...
